I often perform at weddings as well as events for special occassions. Several times a year I perform with the University of Hawaii's symphony as well as the Big Island Symphony in Waimea, Hawaii.
Why the Violin?
No other instrument can produce the sound quality of a fine violin. Not only does it produce beautiful wood tones and clear highs, proper use of the violin bow adds different textures and contrasts in sounds that make the violin the ideal solo instrument. Additionally, because of the violin’s small size, it can be played in any location, even if remote like the many secluded beaches here in Hawaii. Most would agree that the high quality sound produced by a high-end violin is unsurpassed and cannot be reproduced by any other instrument.
